I had the distinct impression that there are more QE2 staff on QV than QM2.

Sanjay is in the Britannia on QV. Service was superb in Britannia in January. (WCC)

I'd like to think that they were all going to QE, making the ship choice easy!

Matthew

I remember Sanjay, good to hear he is still around.

The quota as I heard was 40% of crew from each of the existing ship plus 20% new starts (not sure if this is new to the cruise industry or new to Cunard). Will be interesting to see who goes over to QE.

If they do rotate the crew it will be a shame, I look forward to seeing the same people. Unless Cunard wants the passengers to rotate too!!! I would imagine that it would be quite hard on the crew to keep having to get use to new ships and people. A lot of the bar staff that I have seen remember what I drink and smoke, which I find amazing. Or perhaps I'm spending way too much time in the bars! But it is a wonderful personal touch so I would really miss that. Not too keen on that idea at all...

Not possible, if I am being honest. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Exactly my thoughts. (Bar the cigarettes......)

Matthew

I think on reflection, it will take quite a time to rotate everybody anyway but it would be disappointing to hear that your favourite crew member is onboard another ship.

Indeed. It would be a great pity to miss her.

Matthew

You have a favourite?

Don't act all innocent, I suspect you have a favourite or two throughout the fleet.

Not having travelled with Cunard since 2008 may I ask if anyone has come across Nagesh who gave us such excellent service in the Caronia Restaurant on QE2 that year?

Regards,

Robert.

To answer your original question, I would reccomend carrymyluggage.com. We have used them twice now and find they are a fifth of the white star service prices but do not compromise on the srevice offered.
